Keryflex Nail Restoration
Keryflex Nail Restoration is a cosmetic procedure in which a clear resin is applied to a damaged toenail in order to improve its appearance. Its effects are immediate, and typically last about 6-8 weeks. The unique composition of Keryflex resin creates a flexible yet durable nail that covers the damaged nail. This still allows the original nail to continue growing. Keryflex is a cosmetic procedure only and will not cure any nail diseases.
Benefits of Keryflex:
Offers an alternative option for patients with damaged toenails
Delivers immediate and significant cosmetic enhancement after just one visit
Looks and feels completely natural - unlike rigid acrylic nails, Keryflex is flexible and allowds nails to bend with the natural movement of toes and feet
Is compatible with human tissue and will not irritate or cause further damage to the underlying nail or skin
Allows the remaining nail to grow out naturally
Is unaffected by acetone, nail polish, or detergents
Less chance of infection as it is applied in the sanitary setting of a chiropodist's office, and Keryflex itself is non-porous and will not allow moisture to penetrate between the natural and prosthetic nail
Keryflex works best for people with the following issues:
Nail fungus
Changes in nail shape due to trauma or injury
Spoon-shaped nails
Brittle and splitting nails
